The business segment will be renamed from Geodis Industrial Projects to Geodis Project Logistics, announced the company.
The name change reflects the more diversified service portfolio of Geodis in this sector, which now goes beyond serving the industrial segment. In addition to Geodis' growing activity in the renewable energy market, Geodis is integrating its aid and relief business, as well as its marine logistics teams into the expanded project logistics organisation, it said.
